Webhooks
Signed HTTP notifications on 33 events, with retries.
Built inPart of the product. There is nothing to install, only to configure.
Every request carries X-HelloTeam-Signature: t=<unix>,v1=<hmac>, an HMAC-SHA256 over <timestamp>.<body> with the webhook's secret. Check the timestamp too: a request older than five minutes is a replay. Failed deliveries retry with exponential backoff, the log shows the response, and settled deliveries are pruned after a fortnight.
What it needs
- An HTTPS endpoint that accepts the POSTrequired
Connecting it
- 1Settings → API → Webhooks: enter the target URL and tick the events.
- 2Copy the secret and verify the signature with it on the receiving side.
- 3Answer 2xx; anything else triggers a retry.
