For developers
MCP
The same data for an AI assistant, as tools, with the same key.
The /api/mcp endpoint offers 37 tools to a model over the Model Context Protocol: search, fetch, search_contacts, get_contact, get_company, get_deal, recent_activity, list_deals, pipeline_summary, list_tasks, list_unpaid_invoices, stalled_deals, cash_flow_forecast, receivables_ageing, sales_health, create_contact, update_contact, create_deal, move_deal, create_task, log_note, list_record_types, list_records, create_record, list_sites, list_site_pages, list_site_posts, create_site_page, list_section_types, list_bookings, list_link_pages, list_quotes, list_invoices, list_products, list_orders, list_tickets, list_purchase_orders. Every tool writes through the same helper the screens do: a stage move writes history, a note lands on the timeline. A refusal is a result rather than an error, so the model reads it and tries something else.
What it needs
- An API key, or an OAuth sign-inrequired
An API key for a machine integration (write scope for the writing tools); Claude and ChatGPT sign in with OAuth, with the person's own permissions.
Connecting it
- 1For Claude and ChatGPT see the Claude and ChatGPT guide: no key is needed there, the person signs in with their own account.
- 2For a machine integration, create an API key under Settings → API.
- 3In your MCP client, add the server at https://<your host>/api/mcp with an Authorization: Bearer header.
- 4The client lists the tools; the descriptions are the documentation: the model sees nothing else.
- 5Writes are attributed to whoever created the key: a key is not a person, but somebody authorised it.
