Calendar

ICS calendar feed

A read-only subscription from any calendar: no account to connect.

Built inPart of the product. There is nothing to install, only to configure.

An ICS link any calendar can subscribe to, so there is no app to register and no token to refresh. The URL is the credential: hashed at rest, revocable, served private. The trade is that it is one-way and read-only, and the calendar refreshes on its own schedule (Google is often hourly), which the settings page says out loud.

What it needs

Nothing. There is no app to register and no token to refresh.

Connecting it

  1. 1Profile → Calendar subscriptions: create a link.
  2. 2Google Calendar: Other calendars → From URL. Outlook: Add calendar → Subscribe from web. Apple: File → New Calendar Subscription.
  3. 3If the link leaks, revoke it and make a new one.
